Window types
FlexScreen fits into offset PVC-U windows with the specification/geometry shown in the picture without an adapter profile.
What type of window is FlexScreen suitable for?
Offset plastic windows
FlexScreen fits without an adapter profile in offset PVC-U windows with the specification/geometry shown in the picture. FlexScreen is perfectly suited for the very common turn/tilt windows. The window remains fully operable without having to remove the insect screen.
The FlexScreen system is not suitable for flush-mounted windows. FlexScreen is installed between the window frame and the window sash. In the case of flush windows, there is not enough space so that the insect screen fabric can be damaged when the window is closed and the window does not close properly.
Adapter profiles will soon be available for this type of window. Please contact us for more information on this topic.
Both modern and older wooden windows are not compatible with the FlexScreen system. These windows are usually designed in such a way that the distance between the window frame and the window sash is very small – which is why the insect screen system usually does not have enough space with this type of window.
Similar to flush windows, this window system usually does not offer enough space for a FlexScreen. In addition, aluminum windows often have a special sealing system and sharp-edged corners, which can lead to the fabric being damaged or torn.
Adapter profiles will soon be available for this type of window. Please contact us for more information on this topic.
For which window types is FlexScreen not yet suitable?

Do the pencil test
You can easily test whether the FlexScreen frame fits in your window. Place a pencil in the window frame as shown in the pictures.
If the pencil fits well in the window frame and your window can be closed and reopened without any problems, the FlexScreen frame will most likely also have enough space. This space must be available throughout the entire window frame, not just where the pencil is inserted.
Installation
How the flexscreens are attached
No tools or aids are required to install FlexScreen. Thanks to its flexible frame, this fly screen can be used with bare hands. The FlexScreen is clamped into the window frame by pressing the flexible frame together.
The clip-on spacers provide additional support. These guarantee a perfect fit in the window frame if the FlexScreen does not fit perfectly on its own.
