The FlexScreen frame is made of phosphated, oil-hardened, high carbon spring steel coated with high performance Duralloy exterior grade PVC.

Yes, to ensure that your FlexScreen fits perfectly in the window, we automatically subtract 4 mm from the width and 10 mm from the height during production. If you would like to receive the FlexScreen without this deduction, please specify “No standard deduction” in the “Order Comments” field during checkout, or let us know your desired deduction amount. Information Sheet

No. Our slim, flexible frame disappears into the window frame and is practically invisible. Color matching is not required.

We offer FlexScreen in our store in sizes up to a maximum of 140 cm x 200 cm. If your window is larger, please contact us by email at info@flexscreen.ch

No. FlexScreens are only produced as squares or rectangles in sizes up to 140 cm x 203 cm.

Yes, this is important! If you enter the width and height in the store the other way round, please let us know under comments (height = width, width = height). During production, we deduct 4 mm from the width and 10 mm from the height so that your FlexScreen fits perfectly. Without this information, your FlexScreen will not fit! Please also note that the safety note is no longer at the bottom right for production reasons.

No, but we are constantly working on further developing FlexScreen technology and we are always bringing new innovations to the market.

No special tools are required! The flexible design of FlexScreen enables simple, tool-free installation and removal.

Remove the FlexScreen from the window frame and clean it with mild soap and water. Alternatively, you can also just spray the fabric with water. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning tools.

Yes, that’s possible if the general requirements are met. FlexScreen can also be used on a double-sash window, but only for the sash that opens first. The second sash can only be opened after removing the FlexScreen.
In addition, you must check the space between the two sashes to ensure there is enough room for the FlexScreen frame. To do this, perform the pencil test using a pencil or ballpoint pen with a diameter of 8–10 mm.
